Steaven Richard is a renowned wrought-iron artist and designer, distinguished by his exceptional talent and passion for metal. Trained in the traditional school of metalwork, he decided to open his own workshop after a ten-year tour of Europe. Settling in Paris, he met artists, sculptors and designers who nurtured his artistic approach. His works, recognizable by their refinement and finesse, bear witness to unrivalled craftsmanship and boundless creativity. He quickly attracted the attention of the great Parisian decorators for his palette of patinas.
In 2013, Karl Lagerfeld commissioned him to create a Versailles parquet floor in textured nickel silver for his CHANEL studio. This exceptional project accelerated the development of innovative techniques and tools, now patented, giving birth to artistic laminating. Steven Richard, passionate about innovation, challenge and creative dialogue, is constantly experimenting to open up new aesthetic fields.
Collaborating with the Modelec brand, Steaven Richard has designed the "Fascination" switch collection. This range perfectly embodies his artistic approach, fusing noble materials with bold, contemporary designs. Each switch in this collection is a work of art in itself, reflecting the precision and expertise of the master metalworker. The clean lines and meticulous details of these switches bring a touch of elegance to any interior. His work with Modelec on the "Fascination" collection illustrates his constant desire to innovate while respecting the artisanal heritage that makes his craft so rich.
