Felicia Arvid is a Danish designer born in Aarhus on April 26, 1994. She began her career in clothing and fashion design, selling her first creations in Japan at the age of 18. Keen to explore other creative fields, she went on to study architecture at the Glasgow School of Art.
Her approach to design is influenced by her tactile experience with textiles, transforming flat materials into three-dimensional forms, and by her architectural training, which gives her a structural awareness and attention to material quality and atmosphere.
Among her notable achievements is the "Klipper" acoustic panel, designed in collaboration with Caimi Brevetti, which won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro ADI in 2022. She also created the "PLI" pendant lamp for Foscarini, where the light source serves as a load-bearing structure, passing through a thin sheet to create elegant folds and drapes.
Felicia Arvid has participated in several international exhibitions, including SaloneSatellite in 2018, 2022 and 2024, as well as Paris Design Week in 2019. Her work is characterized by a harmonious fusion of form, material and function, always in search of surprising simplicity.
