At the age of 18, he joined and then took over the reins of his father Angelo Tosetto's Studio Italia Design company.

Founded in 1950 in Venice, Studio Italia Design went from strength to strength thanks to Andrea Tosetto's innovative and modern spirit. He brought a breath of fresh air to the style of lighting produced and led the company to create high-end lamps for a more diversified public, while maintaining traditional Venetian craftsmanship. He created the brand's iconic collections: Kelly, Nautlius, Rain, Pin-Up, Bugia and Spider.

Andrea Tosetto took the initiative in setting up a production process based on in-house production using quality, local materials. He then passed on his values and the company to his son Massimiliano in 2013.

In 2020, for its 70th anniversary, Studio Italia Design will change its name to Lodes. Thanks to the work of 3 consecutive generations of the Tosetto family, in 2023 Lodes becomes Italy's 4th largest lighting manufacturer.
